The RECHMATIGHEID journal is a publication that features writings on the theme of Government Law, particularly in the field of Administrative Law, including both State Administrative Law and Regional Administrative Law. Administrative Law is a sub-specialization of Legal Studies as a part of the Public Law branch. This journal takes its name from one of the principles that characterize the study of Administrative Law, namely “Rechmatigheid,” which means a principle of legality implying that an action or decision must be lawful and in accordance with applicable law, as well as not violating the law. Administrative Law covers public policy, taxation, employment, environment, and scopes related to administration, including multidisciplinary connections with other fields such as administration science and other disciplines still related to Administrative Law.
